Kingsworth is now offering scholarships for pupils who excel in certain disciplines.
We have two types of scholarships on offer: Academic Scholarships and Outstanding Talent Scholarships. There is no set limit for the number of scholarships on offer in one particular year; this will solely depend on the quality of each application.
Scholarships represent reductions in school fees of 10% to 50%. Scholarships are reviewed every two years for IGCSE and International A Level candidates and every year for KS3 candidates.
These are given to pupils who have an impeccable record of achievement at their current school, as shown by their school reports and teacher comments, and who can demonstrate academic excellence in at least one subject. Applicants will be asked to write a personal statement explaining the reasons for which they think they are worthy of being considered for a scholarship to Kingsworth. If needed, Kingsworth may invite applicants to take a series of scholarship tests in order to evaluate their level of academic excellence.
Outstanding Talent Scholarships:
These are given to pupils who can show an outstanding level in Music, Sport or Art. The scholarships will be given to students who are committed to their chosen discipline and can show that they are actively involved in groups, ensembles, teams, etc. Applicants will be asked to write a personal statement explaining the reasons for which they think they are worthy of being considered for a scholarship to Kingsworth. If needed, Kingsworth may ask applicants to send a recommendation letter from a person in a position of responsibility (a music teacher, art teacher or sports instructor, for example).
Applications for scholarships will close on 30th April for the next academic year.
